Room6

The room beyond the red door is completely black. The lighting is sufficient to allow sight, but every surface is made of stone as black as night. The stone seems to draw in the available light and make the room feel dark.

In the center of the room is a long table which is also made of the same black stone as the walls.

The only exit from the room is the red door through which they entered.

“Gods damn it,” Lamia screams and stomps her foot. “I am so sick of these games. Why can’t this place just kill us or let us go?”

“Well maybe that’s what the mirrors are offering this time,” Safir says.

“Oh, so suddenly you’re getting brave and acting like you know what’s going on?” Lamia grabs the smaller girl by her shoulders and shakes her hard enough to rock Safir’s head.

“Lamia, stop it.” Jora grabs her wrists and forces her to release the younger girl.

“If we start turning on each other we’re all going to die. Maybe Safir has a point, we need to stay positive.”

Lamia’s upper lip curls but then her face collapses and a single tear worms its way down her cheek.

“I’m sorry, Safir; this place is getting to me.”

“It’s alright,” Safir says and hugs the older girl. “We’re going to get through this together.”

They embrace for a moment and then turn to look around the room.

The usual two mirrors are present, almost invisible against the light sucking stone.

In the black mirror, they see a glowing green sword lying on the black table. Safir approaches and reaches for the blade.

In the white mirror, they see a red sword, also glowing, upon the black table. Lamia approaches and reaches for the blade.
