Room23a

The door opens on a stark white room. It is circular in shape and every surface is made of a sparkling, white stone that looks like quartz.

The only way in or out is the black door through which they just entered.

In the center of the room stand two mirrors.

“Oh my Gods, that’s the town,” Jora says.

In the black mirror, one of the narrow streets in Dragon’s Hollow is visible. Townspeople they know well wander the streets involved in their daily chores.

“Look, it’s Crag,” Conrad says. He pushes forward and points out a tall gangly youth with a red stocking cap.

    “Crag! Crag, we’re here.”

“He can’t hear you, stupid,” Jora says. “It’s just a vision.”

“It’s home,” Safir says excitedly. “Let’s choose that one. I want to go home.”

The white mirror shows a forest. Thin saplings and gently waving ferns stretch into the distance.

“Isn’t that the woods north of the Hollow?”  Lamia leans close to see the image better. “Yes I’m sure of it, I know that trail well. I picked mushrooms there for that stew we had last month.”
