Room15
The door opens onto a small room. It is made of plain gray stone blocks stacked upon each other. The roof and floor are rough-hewn wooden beams. This room is so mundane that it could be any building in Dragon’s Hollow, but they know they are still trapped in the dungeon.
There are no other doors except the white door through which they entered.
In the center of the room stands a pedestal made of wood.
Flanking the pedestal are the two mirrors they have come to expect and dread.
In the black mirror, a book is shown upon the pedestal. The cover of the book shows a golden sword.
In the white mirror, a nearly identical book is shown. The cover of this book is graced by a bone white skull.
“Do we really have to guess what will happen if we choose the skull?” Conrad gestures at the mirror with an incredulous look on his face.
“Has anything in here been that obvious?”
“Maybe you have a point, Lamia. So you choose it then.”
“No sir, I want to get out of here. What’s the point of a mirror if there’s no other exit?”
“Maybe one has a clue,” Safir says.
“Smart girl,” Jora says eliciting a smile. “So what shall we do?”
What choice should the adventurers make?
